Penis butter, anyone?Tough month .. my job lot of organic peanut butter (4 months supply) ran out and, for one reason or another I have not got round to buying new supplies. I did briefly go into "Planet Organic" 2 days into my cold turkey, but they were charging almost £6 for about a 1/3 of the size I usually buy from
Suma. So, it appears I may have weaned myself off my habit of a lifetime. And just one short calendar month after declaring to heather and reka that I could not remember a day in living memory where I hadn't eaten peanut butter. Perhaps old habits don't die so hard after all ... which is probably just as well.
ps -one of my students in Osaka back in '97 paused for a few moments, thoughtfully, to consider her best english response to my question about her favourite foods, before declaring to the rest of the class "I like .... um ... penis butter"! I couldn't speak, let alone teach for the next 5 minutes I was laughing so hard. Still chuckle from the belly to this day.
