XXX ..

.. hausted! Triple-rated tired, me. Just finished an 8-day stretch, working right through the August bank-holiday weekend. Sure there's probably decent money at the end of it all (for an NHS slave anyway), but what price your Freedom (capital intended)? Well, in my case about £500 before or after tax (not sure). Anticipating feeling broken while the world played, for at least part of the time, in the sun .. I booked some annual leave to recuperate. First stop, Brighton to visit the special lady and her 'wonder boy'. Better get me skates on. Aiming to catch the last train 't coast if I can just stay awaaaaaaaaaa...................

Tempus fugit

The day that used to be the day after tom and annas birthday has come around fast. One year today since my split with J. A slow and painful year that is now over. Woo hoo.

Happy birthday T&A. Unfortunately tom not around as off in search of horatio, but managed to catch anna last night on fine form - champers, cake and crusts by london bridge. Have a great day kids. I am so fortunate to have so much t&a in my life! ;) Xxx

Fifteen to One

Great quiz show. Poor template for a work life balance. Back from fantastic break (pix to follow), and now have one day off in the next 15 days to 'look forward' to. Deep breaths, deep breaths ... which will, from a positive point of view be good preparation for sucking in all that fresh sea air ...

Living the dream ...

well ... Living 'at' the dream anyway. This pool part of one of 4 'luxury' suites available, hanging off the side of the cliff 1,000m up overlooking santorini's famous caldera view. The pool was a bonus as that suite was empty so owner let us escape the confines of our private jacuzzi (?!) And we didnt need to be asked twice. Pix and vid to follow of our brief encounter with the high living - in this case quite literally. X
